How To Protect Your Pool From Winter Damage

We understand that winter-proofing your pool and keeping up with it throughout the cold months is daunting but it is VERY important.

Water level is crucial in winter-proofing a tiled pool. If the water level is too high, it can damage the pool tiles upon freezing. The surface water will expand and place too much pressure against the tile, causing it to crack. It is advisable to keep water levels some distance below where the tiles are to prevent any damage. Removing the snow load from your winter cover is important and can alleviate weight on the winter cover along with avoiding the water level from rising once the snow melts.
