JULY 4TH REMINDERS

1.SUN/RAIN

Heat and rain can cause a cloudy pool. Make sure you test and adjust your pool during this hot and rainy weather. Adjust pH to 7.6ppm, alk to 120ppm, cya/stabilizer to 50 for a chlorine pool and 50-80 for salt water pools depending on your generator requirements. Also, check salt levels to be sure pool is at the right level.

2.HEATER

If you haven’t used your heater and are planning on heating up the pool for a party, be sure to test is out as soon as possible, leaving yourself enough time to schedule any necessary repairs.

3.BEFORE THE PARTY

Test and adjust all chemicals and vacuum the pool. If you don’t have time, call NeJame to take advantage of our one-time vac service!

4.AFTER THE PARTY

Shock the pool and make sure to leave the filter running overnight. Check the filter pressure to see if you need to backwash or clean your cartridge.
