We have been a member for over 17 years.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals is a group that advocates for consumer’s safety as well as for the pool industry. They help set standards, offer training and do much more for the industry. Being a member of the APSP not only helps us provide our customers with the best service, but also reassures our customers that they are dealing with a professional.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) is the world’s oldest and largest association representing swimming pool, spa, and hot tub manufacturers, manufacturers’ agents, builders, designers, distributors, suppliers, installers, retailers, and service technicians. Dedicated to the growth and development of its members’ businesses and to promoting the enjoyment and safety of pools and spas, APSP offers a range of services, from professional development to advancing key legislation and regulation at all levels, to consumer outreach and public safety. APSP is the only industry organization recognized by the American National Standards Institute to develop and promote national standards for pools, hot tubs, and spas.

NORTHEST SPA & POOL ASSOCIATION (NESPA)

The Northeast Spa & Pool Association provides education and support to business as well as serving as a resource for product and safety information for consumers.

The Northeast Spa & Pool Association exists to create a professional climate in which to advance commercial activities, and to address the current and future needs of the pool and spa industry.

In the late 1950s, members of the swimming pool industry in the northeast section of the U.S. banded together to form NESPA to address their collective needs. From the days of its founding, the organization has been continuously engaged in promoting and protecting its members and educating them and raising their levels of competency in all phases of business activity. The Northeast Spa & Pool Association exists advance the commercial interests of our members in the pool and spa industry. The association provides education, networking and business support to meet the current and future needs of our membership and the industry as a whole. W also serves as a resource for product and safety information for consumers.

NESPA is the owner and producer of the Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show, one of the swimming pool industry’s largest events. The Show draws 11,000 people to Atlantic City for four days of educational, business and social activities each year.

NESPA’S trademark¬Ě activity is the Professional Training Institute. PTI offers the industry’s broadest, most comprehensive training programs designed to upgrade professional skills in building, service, management and retail operations.

THE NATIONAL PLASTERERS COUNCIL

The National Plasterers Council was formed in 1988. The Council focuses on studying plaster surface problems and the writing of technically sound practices for the industry.

THE DUTCHESS COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Dutchess Count Chamber of Commerce was started in 1907. The Chamber was known, until recently, as the Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce. It was created to grow the local economy.
